Clouded Leopard -- Typography

This was approximately the 3 step of 6 in the animal series. This was my first adventure in typography. Most all of the other students had to take typography as a means to acheive their major, but for some reason, the animation students didn't have to. Luckily for me I was surrounded by roommates who where taking the class, so I got to watch them and get somewhat of an idea of what I needed to do. I chose 2 different font styles of varying size and thickness and applied them to the basic shape and shading of the original rendering. I used a textured piece of green handmade paper paper underneath the semi-transparent paper I applied the letters to. Look closely, can you find the 666? heh heh...
